My Contributions

Storyboard & Concept

I came up with the main idea for the film and drew up different iterations of storyboards. I also created the 2D animatic and concept illustrations to show the feel of the film.

Character & Prop Design

I was responsible for the main design of Stu. I also drew up sketches for the main assets of the film.

3D Modeling &Texturing

I modeled a few assets using Maya and then took them into Substance Painter to texture them.

Rigging & Animation

I created the rig for the hand in Maya. I was also responsible for the 2D animation of the character's face which I created using Procreate and After Effects. It was then input onto the 3D model as an image sequence in Maya using PxrSurfaceLayers.

These are the alphas for the face animations. They were input into the PxrSurfaceLayers node as image sequences and act as a mask for the texture map.

After Credits

I made the art for the end credits using Procreate.
